Despite James' lack of rhythm and inability to touch his toes, he has done multiple terms of pole classes himself to understand what is needed to make your shapes look the best, he can't do a ballerina but he can guide you through how to make yours look amazing. Feel free too bring a pole friend who understands your skillset, your strength and tricks.
Yes, we encourage anyone to bring a comfort person or a hype girl someone to assist you with outfit changes giving you a spin If needed, bonus point if they're also a pole dancer, if you are both looking to shoot together you can book your sessions back to back to share in double time and get dual shots as well.
Please refer to your booking confirmation as each shoot is different.
No, most dancers arrive with their hair and makeup before their shoot although we have a makeup area available of use if needed, plus keep in mind if you are doing a full inverted eagle no one is looking at your eyeliner anyways.
You've been doing pole + aerial for a few months, but your iphone photos don't accurately capture your new strength and skills
You’ve been training your ass off… and the only proof you’ve got is a grainy phone video from the corner of the room.
You know you’re overdue, You’re sick of watching other people do it, You want to see yourself done right.
I discovered my love of capturing human movement after shooting a basketball game many years ago, but after connecting with dancers I turned my lens to the craft of pole dance + aerials. I've done terms of pole classes myself to better understand the sport, art, and struggles of pulling off these tricks. And although I look great in six inch heels you probably look better.
You're great on the pole, and I'm better with the camera. And together we can make some amazing art.
A photographer that understands just how hard this sport really is
